Love Your Neighbor
One old command, heard in many faiths. A Sikh, a Hindu, a Muslim, a Jew, a Buddhist, a pastor and a doctor who doesn't believe in God, each answering: who is my neighbor?
Before you press play
Ideal for churches, interfaith groups and classes on ethics. Read Luke 10:25–37 or Leviticus 19:18 aloud first if your group uses scripture.
Play it on a laptop or TV with the screen on, since most voices are short videos. Each neighbor is introduced by a short card. You can pause after any voice to talk.
Content notes. A Sikh American from San Antonio: Describes being called a terrorist as a child. A doctor who doesn't believe in God, praying with a grieving mom: A child's death; mild language. An Air National Guard physician assistant: Describes wartime injuries.

Talk about it
- Each voice comes from a different faith or none. What did they have in common?
- Who in these stories acted like a neighbor without being asked?
- Which neighbor's way of loving others challenged you?
- Who is the neighbor in your life you find hardest to love? What's one step toward them?
Let anyone pass. Listening is the point.
